It usually comes up automatically when you book rooms, but I didn’t notice the room was only in my name on the reservation, and had to pay an extra daily charge for my husband. When you book a room with Expedia, make sure there are 2 people allocated to your room in the booking.
It is outstanding and well worth including in your booking. All the reviews I read raved about the breakfast and we are official members of the fan club now. It really wasn’t a problem though, as we were out and about, enjoying the beautiful city. I would probably pay extra for a larger room next time. Our room was clean and comfortable, though not especially spacious, so if you have large suitcases like we did, it can feel a bit cramped. A special shout out to Anna, who was extremely helpful and sorted out a small problem for us with great charm and humor. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and all speak good English. It is a very central location, but in a quiet street.
We were very happy to discover that it was very easy to get around from, either by foot or by public transport. First time in Vienna, so I wasn’t sure if I’d chosen well, not being familiar with the city. This is a great hotel in a fantastic location.
